The Easter Retreat is one of the highlights of our Mana year. It is also a highlight in her teaching year for Dr Stephanie Dowrick who has been leading life-changing retreats at Mana since 2000. For 2012 Stephanie is taking as our theme "The Grace of Kindness", with a special emphasis on those unexpected moments of grace that can come when we most need and least expect them, as well as on a refreshed understanding of kindness in all its many expressions from respect and connection to active gratitude and appreciation.
An interfaith minister as well as the author of many best-selling books on psychological and spiritual themes, including Choosing Happiness and Seeking the Sacred, Stephanie Dowrick leads these retreats from a genuinely inclusive spiritual perspective, combining the best-tested ancient wisdom with contemporary psychological insight and practical, sometimes transformative support.
The Easter Retreat offers inspired teaching, meditation and times for guided reflection and discussion with walks, ample nourishing food, and opportunities for deeply healing quiet and rest.
CANCELLATION: 30 days or more, prior to the event, your deposit is transferable to another course within the next 12 months or refunded less $50 admin fee. If you cancel within 30 days of the event your deposit is forfeited unless your place is filled.
