Bringing a group or teaching a programme at Mana

Mana provides an ideal space for retreats, workshops, conferences, reunions. The octagonal meeting room, dining room and comfortable accommodation is suitable for groups of 12 to 50 people. The delicious vegetarian food is garden-fresh, locally sourced and organic where possible. A guest kitchen is available for smaller groups to self cater (6-12 people).

A 2-day event needs about 25 or more people to be viable for us both; an event of longer duration is viable with smaller numbers.

It is the group leader’s responsibility to promote and attract a group of viable size. Most participants come because of their relationship to the presenter and/or familiarity with the material. Although Mana promotes events on our website and regularly distributes information to our networkers and database, less than a quarter of participants make a booking from this alone. It is therefore essential to the success of an event that the presenter/organiser takes an active part in its promotion.

First time presenters, small group activities and community events have a place in the Mana programme so please do put forward your proposal even if the criteria above seem potentially challenging. We are also available for eco and esoteric tour groups and corporate renewal. Using adjoining accommodation on the Mana land, we can accommodate up to 50 people comfortably.

Our basic fee is $115 per person per day: includes shared accommodation, 3 mostly organic vegetarian meals, all linens and use of the facilities. Mana is vegetarian and is drug and alcohol free.

 

Event Accommodation: includes 3 vegetarian organic meals & full facility use (tuition extra)

Single surcharge per night $30 (subject to availability)

Special Dietary Requirements - There will be a surcharge of $10 per person / per day for special dietary requirements ie; vegan, gluten, wheat and/or dairy free. We will require a phone consultation to determine if other dietary requirements can be met.

Breaks - If food is required then there is a charge of $3 - $5 per person / per break.

Children under 5yrs - no charge; up to 14yrs – half price.

If a booking is agreed to, a contract is prepared. This agreement along with payment of the agreed deposit confirms the dates and the booking.
